Asif Shaikh is originally from India and has been here in Chicago for the last 4 years. He is working as a Data Analyst at the University of Chicago Booth College of Business.
He is one of the leads for the DIC Ramadan Committee and voluntarily runs DIC’s Feed the Hungry program every Sunday with the help of a team of 6 other volunteers.
This year he is leading the “Green Ramadan” project for Chicago Muslims Green Team.
He believes in small actions to make bigger change in the world. He and his wife (Karyma) who manages CMGT’s Social Media, Alhamdulillah, always try to lead by example for others to follow a green lifestyle.
